Community Lawyers Inc. hosted a Domestic Violence Workshop at Casa De Familia in the city of Santa Ana in an effort to bring awareness to the issue.  Domestic violence can be defined as a pattern of behavior in any relationship that is used to gain or maintain power and control over an intimate partner.  Abuse can happen to anyone and comes in many different forms.  According to SAHARA's website, 1 IN 4 women, 1 IN 9 men in the United States are victims of domestic violence at some point in their lives.  If you or a love one are a victim of domestic violence please remember that you are not alone and there is help and legal remedies out there!
