Tradition of Advocacy 2010

The 5th Anniversary fundraiser, Honoring a Tradition of Advocacy honored two
outstanding members of the legal community, Judge Frances Munoz and Attorney
Manuel Hidalgo - both who have dedicated over thirty-five years to the legal
profession and have made special contributions to improving the quality of life
for underrepresented individuals. The event celebrated CLI's 5th year
anniversary and had over seventy guests in attendance from the legal and local
professional community.

Thank you for your donations! Proceeds from the 5th Anniversary fundraiser will
support the Community Lawyers Access Center (CLAC) and CLI's 2010 Law Student
Summer Internship Program.

Clinics and Workshops

Private attorneys volunteer to provide legal education and information to the public through self-help clinics and workshops. Some workshops are developed specifically for legal aid eligible clients while others are open to all. In order to keep our doors open we request a minimum donation of $25 for attending our workshops or clinics. Please call to make an appointment: (310) 635-8181

9/2: Immigration Consultation (5-7 p.m.)
9/7: Personal Injury (5-7 p.m.)
9/9: Bankruptcy & Debt Relief (5-7 p.m.)
9/16: Immigration Consultation (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
9/18: Unlawful Detainers/Small Claims (10 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
9/22: Family Law Self-Help Clinic (5-7 p.m.)
9/23: Expungment Clinic (5-7 p.m.)

All clinics and workshops take place at the Community Lawyers Access Center located at 1216 East Compton Boulevard, Compton, CA 90221.
