Community Lawyers Inc. would like to thank the Filer family for advocating for the organization in memory of Maxcy Filer.  Mr. Maxcy Filer was an iconic Compton civil rights leader that passed away on January 10, 2011.   In Maxcy Filer's obituary, The Filer family graciously listed Community Lawyers, Inc. as one of the worthy charitable organizations to donate to in lieu of flowers.  Donations received will be used to continuing to increase access to legal services in underserved communities.
